Update (6/5/08): Ed Levine Eats is now Serious Eats: NY. Please read it for all your New York fooding needs! Ed still posts there of course, but now there are lots of contributors and fun stuff, which you wouldn't care about if you don't live in NYC, but PRETEND YOU DO, OK? Cool.
Hey guys, it's food!!! No way! And some books.
I don't mean to keep things so quiet around here—if I had more time (that is, if each day consisted of at least 28 hours) I'd love to post more—but if you want more boppy food musings, check out these recent posts I wrote for Ed Levine Eats:
My posts outside this site read more like "boppy in mild restraints," but that might be a good thing. I encourage you to comment on my posts, even if you don't have a Serious Eats account. Obviously, you must create one. YOU WOULD IF YOU LOVED ME.
Now I shall continue hacking/coughing and working.
Oh wow, you have all those Time/Life cooking books! I LOVE those! My parents still have the entire collection - I asked them recently if I could have them if they were done. :) My favorite was always "The Cooking of Vienna" (or whatever the one with all the delicious pastries like Sachertorte and Dobos Torte was).
Jenni: Ahh yes, how disappointing was it when you realized those weren't my books but Ko's BATHROOM BOOKS?! Haha. :P Not sure if anyone actually reads em...I sure didn't touch em!
Christina: I'm not sure I would call it strange. ...Okay, a little strange. But not too strange. :)
If you comment under your business's name, I will unpublish your comment. I'll unpublish anything that looks overly self-promotional or doesn't appear to be from a real human. This only applies to 0.5% of you guys; as for the rest of you, stay awesome.
If you have something to ask me that's unrelated to this entry, please email me instead.
If you do want to help me out monetarily, here are some easy non-obtrusive ways to give back:
- Buy stuff through my Amazon ID!: This is the BEST WAY to help me out without throwing money at my feet. I buy most of my material goods from amazon.com, and it would help me shittons if you bought stuff through my link. - Buy t-shirts through my Threadless Street Team thinger - Get webhosting with Dreamhost.com and enter roboppy@gmail.com as the referral
Please don’t hate me if I haven’t included you. I tried to whittle this down to a manageable list, but there are just too many food blogs out there that I like! I shall update this list every so often.
