You too could have five books! This is one of those posts I probably should've written ages ago, but like everything else I should've written ages ago, didn't get written ages ago. To remind y'all, I work full time at...

Swedish cows, living the life. Holy hell, did I only write one post all through June? :( Ffffffuuuuuh... Well. Here are the results: 11 posts about my sweet trip to Sweden last month as part of my "Snapshots from...

Pies from Hoosier Mama = DESTROOOYED. I spent a dishearteningly long time trying to write a short intro to this post—deleting a sentence, staring at my monitor, writing another sentence, staring at my monitor, deleting those sentences, making a sad...

Remember in my last post when I said I'd have Part II of "My Favorite Ten Eats in June" up soon? Well...that...obviously didn't happen. While I'm about 95 percent done with the post, I'm unhappy with how it came out....

A rice bun burger from Lotteria. For those who don't know, one of my major tasks at Serious Eats is editing A Hamburger Today, our hamburger-centric blog. I recently put up a post by Lee Anne about burgers in Taipei,...

FOOD...in Korea. I know it's confusing that I've been writing about a week-long vacation in Iceland for the past month, but I've come to wonder how the hell anyone has time to blog when most of that time is...

Once again, I am failing at posting on a timely basis. :( I have a post in the works that I should finish this weekend, if all goes well. Until then, here are a few recent posts I've done on...

Mary's Fish Camp Whenever Kathy and I need to refer to "that time we went to a restaurant that kind of sucked and wasn't worth it," Mary's Fish Camp pops up, usually followed by a short recap about why it...

Sorry for the infrequent posting lately. Been busy and failing at task management, and, oh, I AM MOVING ON SATURDAY, OH CRAP, I've packed like 30% of my stuff so far. Wish me luck. What horrors does this cup hold?...

WIN. I hadn't eaten the cuban sandwich from El Castillo de Jagua in over a year when I tried it again about two weeks ago. Thankfully, it's still an awesome combination of a pile of pork topped with a slice...

I have one, just one more entry to write about Kåre's visit to New York City, and...it's not done yet. The problem with having a weekend chock full of delicious, inexpensive, fat and starch-laden fooding around Philadelphia is that there's...

Coming soon, to my mouth. 1. I'm going to Philadelphia this weekend to visit the almighty Alex and eat loads of food. If you don't hear from me for a while, that's why. On that note, if you live in...

My lapse in blogging is the fault of a weekend full of Alex, Jerome (a plush toy), Giant Manatee (also a plush toy), loud music, shouting over loud music, seeing many friends I haven't seen in a long time, and...

[Warning: THERE IS NO BIRTHDAY FOOD IN THIS ENTRY. That will come later. Maybe October at the rate I'm going. On the bright side, I'm 2/3rds of the way done with a real entry about food. That should appear soon.]...

Serious Eats interns (and Raphael) in action! Serious Eats is looking for interns in New York City as we go into the new school year and lose our current interns to Institutions of Higher Learning. People have contacted me through...

Update (6/5/08): Ed Levine Eats is now Serious Eats: NY. Please read it for all your New York fooding needs! Ed still posts there of course, but now there are lots of contributors and fun stuff, which you wouldn't care...

Mm, mayo! Check out my latest Chile post on Serious Eats: Snapshots from Chile: Hot Dogs and Sandwiches at Rapa Nui. Warning: if mayonnaise gives you nightmares, you probably shouldn't read it....

Coffee with legs! Just giving you a heads up that I've written a post about café con piernas (coffee with legs) on Serious Eats. I did a few Chilean "Photo of the Day" posts as well; here are all my...

Bowls! And stuff! Check out my first Chile-related post on Serious Eats about clay bowls from Pomaire. Every photo of the day this week should be about Chile, unless my brain dies. I'm not posting about Chile in any order;...

Help out roboppy?

If you do want to help me out monetarily, here are some easy non-obtrusive ways to give back:

- Buy stuff through my Amazon ID!: This is the BEST WAY to help me out without throwing money at my feet. I buy most of my material goods from amazon.com, and it would help me shittons if you bought stuff through my link.
- Buy t-shirts through my Threadless Street Team thinger
- Get webhosting with Dreamhost.com and enter roboppy@gmail.com as the referral

Thank you so much for your help!

I "post process" all my photos in Photoshop to make them suck less. Of course, you need a camera to take semi-decent photos first, but without Photoshop, I am nothing.
